Great shopping is just the beginning at University Village Colorado. Here are just a few of the activities that will make UVC your “village of choice.”
Eat, drink, and be merry! You can enjoy a meal, a drink, or a snack at one of your fine food purveyors. You’ll find everything from gourmet coffee to handcrafted beers. If you’re hungry you can sit down to a full meal, or grab a smoothie or a gelato to go!
Stay connected! At UVC you can take advantage of free Wi-Fi from most places in the shopping center. Many shops have their own free wireless access as well.
Get back to Nature! UVC’s Overlook Park provides an ideal spot to relax and enjoy your lunch with a fantastic view of Pikes Peak. And the park is a designated trailhead for the Pikes Peak Greenway—part of the Santa Fe Trail system. It’s a perfect place to hit the trail. This trail that meanders along Monument and Fountain Creeks is great for bike enthusiasts—but is easy enough for kids. Maintained by El Paso County Parks and Leisure Services the trail has a gentle elevation gain of less than 1,000 feet over the entire trail, making it a comfortable ride (or walk) with views of Pikes Peak, Elephant Rock, and Rampart Range. Leashed dogs are permitted on the trail.
Enjoy community events! The North and South Plazas provide plenty of places where you can take it easy and relax in the sunshine. The North Plaza also boasts an outdoor amphitheater that will play host to special events and concerts. Be sure to check our calendar of events regularly for up-coming happenings! And if you’re into fitness, you’ll want to check out the UVC Running Club!
Easy access to UCCS! From the North Plaza, you’ll have easy access to Mountain Lion Crossing, a pedestrian underpass that provides safe passage to the campus of UCCS, Mountain Lion Stadium, Four Diamonds Sports Complex and the future home of UCCS's Performing Arts Center.
